Bulldogs cross-country teams place second in Class A division at Great Falls

With the season half over, the Hardin Bulldog cross-country teams continue to improve. According to Head Coach Cindy Farmer, both boys and girls teams are closing their pack times and are running well together.

The Great Falls invite was another solid test for them. The boys placed 11th overall and the girls placed 13th.

Against Class A competition, both the boys are girls came in second behind Corvallis.

According to race results, out of 20 large school teams competing only, four had a better pack time than the Hardin boy’s time of 1:16. For the girls at 3:25, they came in 13th out of 19 teams competing, but they dropped their pack time from 3:51 at the Mountain West classic to 3:25.

“I’m very pleased with their performance,” said Farmer.

For the boys, Jalen Two Leggins still leads the pack running the course in 17:05 for a 27th place overall finish and third place against Class A runners. Anton Rides Horse followed Two Leggins with a time of 17:08 and a fourth-place finish in Class A.
