Hardin couple dies in vehicle rollover

A husband and wife died late Friday afternoon from blunt force trauma after their Chevy Tahoe rolled several times, ejecting them from the vehicle southeast of Hardin on the Sarpy Highway. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
The deceased are Lonnie Hill, 35, and Lucille “Pumpkin” Jefferson-Hill, 34, both of Hardin. 
According to Big Horn County Coroner Terry Bullis, circumstances surrounding the rollover are currently under investigation. The incident is being examined by the Coroner’s Office, Montana Highway Patrol and Bureau of Indian Affairs.
Funeral services for Lonnie occurred Wednesday in the Crow Agency Multipurpose Building and will start for Lucille at 10 a.m. on April 9 in the Hardin House of Hope Church at 605 N. Custer Ave.
